Thanks Bob,In another life as an advertising photographer I did a textile shoot in this location, the product was called Kiva. As I mentioned in my photographers comments this place is haunted big time.

Artist's Description

These pit house ruins are all over the Four Corners area, These ruins are in the town of Blanding Utah, a very nice museum has been built on the site. This kiva has been restored. A kiva is a ceremonial and caucusing room under ground , where the shamans and elders would gather to make important decisions, while sucking in the fumes of big pile of Peyote burning in a fire pit .
Sort of like the Elks Lodge in the town I grew up in? None the less, the spirit energy in this once scared place, will creep you out. Eventually you and your friends will be fighting to be the first up the ladder.

About Gary Warnimont

Gary Warnimont

Hi my name is Gary Warnimont. I can't remember when I wasn't fascinated by photographs. I remember getting to use my dad's Polaroid Land 1 Camera . Grew up went to college, studied photography and art. Went to work as a catalog photographer. Still am a location advertising photographer. Asleep yet? I am posting my personal work on this site. It is about fun and boy hood vacation adventures. The documentation and restoration of roadside advertising folk art and museum artifacts is an on going project of mine. Hope you enjoy!!!
